Alright children.

I'm going to make a long post and see how much I can say. I've got the laptop sitting in my lap, and I'm ready to let you guys have it. In a good way..yeah.

First and foremost, I am SO ready for summer to be over. Somehow I'm actually ready to get back into the college vibe. I miss my Mizzou friends terribly, and I can't wait for all the changes I've made for this semester (namely, my new major). I love college. Loveitloveitloveit.

Writing can be incredibly theraputic. Just sitting down and writing what's on your mind can really tell you something about yourself. *CLICHÉ ALERT!* Okay, so that sounded sappy. No lie. Ummmm, let me rephraase. I've bene writing since before I knew how to write. It was cute, actually, I'd sit there and scribble on page after page of diaries. So, naturally, I'm pretty good at expressing myself through words. But it's not until you sit down and realize that you've got no one to impress and no one to fool but yourself that you really realize what words can come out when you give them a chance. You know, words like "shit" and "damn". I'm kidding. So, Amanda's Home Remedy for Those Nagging Emotions: write it out. Keep it somewhere. Reread it every so often.

I've been trying to tan. Wow. That hasn't really been working. I've come to the realization that I have no pigment in my skin. There. Tanning is your body's way of protecting it from the sun, so in essence, whiter skin is acutally healthier. Soo....
My skin is PRETTY DAMN HEALTHY. Haha. I just keep telling myself, "You're fair skinned. Just tell people you're fair skinned." I really am. SIGH.

I kind of miss journalism, only in the sense that I kinda wish I still could be a magazine designer someday. I know that I still really could become one, but I dunno, I kinda miss the hype of being in one of the best journalism schools in the country. When thoughts like that come up, I remember how much I freaking love psychology, and I remind myself that you can't deny an excitement like that. I think I'm going to become a professor, and my friends agree that I should do something in education like that. I love being in front of people and love teaching, so it makes sense.

Weeeell, I think this was successful. Fun's fun kids, but I'm gonna run. How about some comments?

Lovelovelovelovelove,

Okay, so I'm ready for summer to be over and done with. I'm beyond ready to tackle this next semester.

Oh yeah, and wasting about thirty bucks on bad music is SO frustrating. I'm going on a music binge soon. A GOOD music binge.

MAN I'm hungry. And I'm supposed to exercise with my mom in 3 and a half hours. Boo.

And with that, I bring this barely-coherent 6:30 a.m. post to a close.

HECK YES! Those beauties will be miiiiiiine in like 3 months. haha. They're tap shoes. No surprise there. The guys who sell them are awesome. Killer dancers too.

I took class from the guy on the right. He's hilarious.

Okay, now I'm really going to try to sleep. Not like I said last time. Cause it didn't work.

Woooo I need sleep.

Okay, so I upgraded to Premium for a month...$4. Not gonna kill me.  The main reason I did it is because you can download your entire blog onto your computer using an archive that they'll compile for you.  I could just copy and paste the million pages of my blog into Word, but I just figured I'd pay the measely four bucks and have them do it for me.  I'd love to just have that with me to read in 20 years or so..haha.

AAAAHHH! I'm going to St. Louis tomorrow for the St. Louis Tap Festival. I'm SO excited! I'm taking 8 master classes from big-name tap dancers.  I'm gonna be in heaven.

I got bored today.
